Information as constructive data terrorism Communication has always been the key element in any successful
revolution. The dissemination of information helps to maintain
a well structured organization. Computer telephony and cellular
technology allows us to keep in touch with anyone anywhere, which
scares the hell out of powerful corporate moguls that rely upon
the supression of such information to properly opress the majority.
The Tower of Babel being a good analogy. The architects could not
complete the structure without being able to commmunicate and work
together. Fear and ignorance is the ammunition of fascist governments;
applying the technique of divide and conquer to successfully stagnate and
control society. Those radicals who spoke out, the poets and the artists,
were labeled "kooks" or "wierdos" to belittle their message and negate any
affect they may have on the masses. More contemprarily, hackers are the new
media scapegoats. Painted as malicious introverted geeks exacting their revenge
on a technophobic society is simply more propaganda by the powers-that-be
to discredit the hacker ethic- all information should be free. Freedom of
information is the freedom of thought and expression. This is empowerment.
If you think America is as free as the flag-suckling zealots would have you believe,
consider this: the Colonists revolted against Great Britain for less! This is
all we have left; there are no more new countries to colonize and ultimately rape!
Take back the freedom that is yours. Set the information free!

costing me?"
